Mt. Hope Clean Up Day
Mt. Hope Clean Up Day -- Saturday, June 18
location: Billy Taylor Park
Mt. Hope Clean Up Day
It's time to Clean up and Green up our neighborhood.
On Saturday, June 18th at 11:00am, volunteers will be meeting at Billy Taylor Park (located on the corner of Cypress St. and Camp). Our Mission is to clean up some of the debris and litter that has accumulated on our streets and sidewalks throughout the winter.
This is a great opportunity for you to meet your neighbors and clean the streets you live on so that our community will be a beautiful place to live. We will provide gloves and trash bags to all those helping. Following the clean up we will meet back at the park for a BBQ with all the volunteers that helped out.
If you would like to participate or have any questions regarding the clean up day and BBQ please call Matt Stone at 454-0237.
Your help will make a difference and your reward will be a neighborhood for all to enjoy.

Cleanup forecast for Matt's Mt. Hope cleanup today is looking good if a bit grey. The hour by hour on the weather site says partly cloudy with temps reaching 67 by 3pm.
Nice cool weather for getting some exersize. Ah one, two, bend, stoop, ah three, four, snag it, bag it.

This is the kind of Mt. Hopean I respect. Pro-active, willing to committ time and energy to making a positive contribution to the community. I'm going to be cleaning up my street, Matt, and thank you for providing the incentive. Hey, what time's the bar-be-que and what're we having? I'm getting hungry already.
What other details can you share, Matt. Did you organize this all by yourself? Did you get any support from the city or any other organizations?
Keep up the good work and the creative thinking. the more like you the merrier for me.
